Browser-side processing keeps sensitive images off third-party storage: product shots before launch, ID scans, face photos, and branded assets you do not want sitting on someone else’s disk. You also skip accounts, weekly free-tier caps, and the awkward “did that upload finish?” wait. For many one-off tasks — shrink a JPEG for email, flip a mockup, tile a catalog sheet — a solid client-side toolkit is enough.
