Privacy: HEIC/AVIF decode, thumbnails, layout, PDF, and ZIP creation run entirely in your browser. Photos are not uploaded to our servers.
A contact sheet (or proof sheet) puts a whole set of photos on a few pages as small, labeled thumbnails, so you can review a shoot at a glance, send clients a sheet to pick from, or keep a printable index of a folder. This free contact sheet maker builds those pages from up to 100 JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or AVIF images — and it runs entirely in your browser, so unreleased photos never leave your device.
Want many copies of one image on a sheet instead? Use the Image Tiler. Need to cut one photo into grid pieces? Try the Image Splitter. Sending the selects to a client afterward? Shrink them with the Image Compressor and strip location data with the EXIF Remover.
Honest notes: “File date” sorting uses the file’s modified date reported by your browser, not the camera’s EXIF capture time. Thumbnails are prepared at up to 800 px, which is plenty for a proof cell but not a substitute for full-size delivery. Very large batches on older phones may be slow — try 30–50 photos at a time.
A: Drop up to 100 JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or AVIF photos, pick a page size (US Letter or A4, portrait or landscape) and columns, turn on filename labels or numbers, then download a multi-page PDF, JPG/PNG pages, or a ZIP. Free, no signup, runs in your browser.
A: No. Thumbnails, layout, labels, PDF and ZIP creation all run locally with HTML canvas. Photos are not uploaded to our servers — handy for unreleased client shoots and private inventory.
A: You choose: 1–12 columns and a fixed 1–20 rows, or Auto rows to fit as many near-square thumbnails as the page allows (about 20 per page at 4 columns on US Letter portrait, about 42 at 6 columns). Extra photos flow onto new pages automatically, up to 100 photos total.
A: Yes — filename labels (with or without extension), index numbers that continue across pages, and optional pixel dimensions + file size. Long names are shortened with an ellipsis. Clients can reply with picks like “#7, #12, #31” or the exact filename.
A: Yes. Download PDF builds one multi-page PDF at real Letter/A4 paper size (or your custom px size). You can also save the current page as JPG/PNG or all pages as a ZIP.
A: US Letter and A4, portrait or landscape, at 150 DPI (screen/email) or 300 DPI (print), plus custom 300–5000 px per side. Margins and gaps are in mm for paper sizes and px for custom. Header title, date, and page numbers are optional.
A: A contact sheet indexes many different photos, each once as a labeled thumbnail, for reviewing or proofing a whole shoot or folder. The Image Tiler repeats copies of one image into a multi-up layout for catalogs, stickers, or print. Contact sheet = review a set; tiler = duplicate one design.
A: Not by default — Fit shows each whole photo in its cell. Choose Fill for uniform, center-cropped thumbnails. Sort by order added, natural filename (IMG_2 before IMG_10), or file modified date. iPhone HEIC and AVIF decode in your browser for this tool — no separate conversion step. (Need a standalone JPG? Use HEIC to JPG.)
A: Yes. Drop .heic / .heif or .avif files alongside JPG, PNG, and WebP. HEIC decoding runs in the browser (native when available, with WASM fallbacks). AVIF uses your browser’s built-in decoder — if that fails, you’ll see a clear message to try Chrome/Edge/Firefox or convert first. Large HEIC batches can take a few seconds per photo.
