QuickImgTools (quickimgtools.com) is a set of free image tools. This page explains what happens to your images and what data the site collects. Questions: hello@quickimgtools.com.
Most tools process images on your own device, in your browser. Your images are not sent to our server. This includes the compressor (and the private compressor), resizer, converter, compress-to-KB tools, HEIC to JPG, EXIF remover, image tiler, splitter, contact sheet, circle crop, blur / redact, flip, DPI converter, color picker, favicon generator, marketplace listing prep and the SVG icon maker.
To work, many pages load code libraries (and, for the SVG icon maker, the icon set) from public content delivery networks: jsDelivr and cdnjs (Cloudflare). Those providers receive normal request data, such as your IP address and browser type, but not your images.
These tools upload your images to our server for processing:
remove.bg handles the images it receives under its own privacy terms. We use uploaded images only to provide the tool you asked for. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.
To prevent abuse, the AI Image Renamer and the Background Remover limit how many requests can be made in a short time, and the AI Image Renamer’s free plan has a daily image limit. For this our server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
The AI Image Renamer suggests filenames with an image-captioning model (Florence-2) that runs in your browser. The first time it is used, your browser downloads the model files from Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its download servers). That download request goes to Hugging Face, which receives normal request data such as your IP address and browser type, but not your photos. The model is then cached in your browser, so later visits normally do not download it again. You can remove the cached model by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The photos are analysed on your device and are not sent to Hugging Face. The code that runs the model is loaded from our own server.
Uploaded images, their thumbnails and the AI Image Renamer’s download ZIP files are deleted automatically once they are more than 24 hours old. Our server runs this cleanup at least every 6 hours while the tools are in use, so in practice files are gone within about 30 hours of upload. In the AI Image Renamer, the ZIP file is deleted right after you download it.
To ask us to delete your uploads sooner, email hello@quickimgtools.com.
The AI Image Renamer page loads Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) to handle optional paid upgrades. Payments currently run in Stripe’s test mode, so no real charges are made. If you pay, Stripe processes your card details. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention.
After a paid upgrade, our server sets a signed cookie (qit_rn) that lets your browser keep using the plan for 24 hours, including in a new tab or after a reload. It holds a reference to the purchase, not your card details.
Pages on this site load Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), which we use to count visits and see which tools are used. Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) and receives data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We do not use it to identify you personally. You can block these cookies in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
We do not show ads.
Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Some pages link to other sites, such as Buy Me a Coffee. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
